A Private Cathedral: A Dave Robicheaux Novel

A Private Cathedral is James Lee Burke’s latest novel about the adventures of former NOYD detective and sometimes dry drunk Dave Robicheaux and his raging bull sidekick Clete Purcell. It’s like all the others – the beautiful descriptions of Louisiana bayou country, fighting evil incarnate, pursuing and defending idealized and sometimes dangerous women. This one adds an element of the supernatural. If you enjoyed Burke’s previous books with these characters, as I have, you’ll like this one, too.
