No One Is Talking About This

Patricia Lockwood, author of two poetry collections and the highly-acclaimed memoir Priestdaddy, has written a surreal novel titled No One is Talking About This. Lockwood became famous as an Internet poet, and the protagonist in this novel is an internet-famous tweeter. The story is presented in short twitter-like commentary, diary entries in a way, that, in the second part of the book, develops a bit of narrative related to real-life events involving her sister’s pregnancy and birth of a child with a congenital disorder. The author has a command of words and the protagonist is often clever and funny in a poignant way. Here’s what Kirkus Reviews says:
