Yin Mountain is a translation of poetry from three Daiost women in 8th and 9th century China. There’s a fair bit of background provided on the misogynistic cultural context in which the poems were written as well as bios of the three women. There aren’t a lot of poems, and they’re all short, but several of them are masterpieces. Here’s what Publisher’s Weekly says:
