I’m Always So Serious is a debut collection of poems by Karisma Price. I was struck by the metaphors and similes and the way she moves from frame to frame. The way she sees, poetically, is unique and effective. Some of the poems that were more experimental with form didn’t work for me, but so many of the poems have wonderful lines and turns that knock me out. Poets, especially, should check Karisma out.
