The Best American Short Stories 2023, edited by Min Jin Lee, is just that – the best. There were a couple of stories that I liked less, but that’s just a matter of taste. In terms of craft, they’re all great. Twenty stories, each a meal complete in itself. If you like stories, or you’re a writer, this is a book to read.
