Time is a Mother, the second collection of poetry by critically-acclaimed writer Ocean Vuong, was an instant New York Times bestseller. Themes include his mother’s death, tenderness, and violence. It is more experimental than his first collection. Many of these poems have appeared in prestigious magazines such as The New Yorker, Harper’s Magazine, The Paris Review, and Poetry.
