My Murder is a novel by Katie Williams set in a world in which people can be cloned. The protagonist, Lou, is a mom with a toddler who, we are told at the beginning, was murdered by a serial killer and, like a handful of his other victims, has been restored to her former life as a clone of herself. She’s obsessed with trying to remember her murder. I shouldn’t say more about the plot because the way things unfold, and even identifying the questions to ask, is central to the story’s effect. Even to compare it to another book would give you hints. So read it. It’s well-written and unique. Here’s what Kirkus Reviews says:
