All Adults Here by Emma Straub is set in a small Northeast town about a dysfunctional family, with each dysfunctional member having his or her own story that interweaves with the stories of others. The chapters alternate point of view to advance the story lines. The book is character-driven, poignant, and funny. Marie Claire calls it a perfect quarantine read:
